Job summary

UGL is seeking motivated Trades Assistants to join the Orica outage on Kooragang Island, Newcastle NSW. This opportunity offers a 6-week project with 11-hour shifts from Monday to Saturday, and a day shift option.

Qualifications

• White Card is required for site access.
• A valid Driver's License is essential.
• Work at Heights certification required within the last 3 years.
• Confined Space certification required within the last 3 years.
• Gas Test Atmosphere certification required within the last 3 years.

UGL industrial and resource division are seeking motivated Trades Assistants to join us for the Orica (Kooragang Island Newcastle NSW) 2026 Outage.

On offer we have:

• Work commencing 10 October
• Approx 6 weeks work
• 11-hour shifts - Monday to Saturday
• Competitive Remuneration Package

• Strong Portfolio of work in 2027 - we have projects commencing Feb 2027

Qualification and Tickets Required

• White Card
• Drivers License
• Work at Heights - Must be completed within 3 years
• Confined Space - Must be completed within 3 years
• Gas Test Atmosphere - Must be completed within 3 years
