Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is inviting experienced Special Class Welders to join our team off the coast of Onslow on the Wheatstone Upstream platform for the October 2026 Turnaround. You will be part of a team delivering maintenance and brownfield execution services across mechanical, electrical, and access disciplines.

The role requires a 12-hour shift pattern, a 35–40 day duration, and mobilisation by 10 Oct 2026. Candidates must hold relevant Australian certificates and offshore safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must Pass 6G Duplex Weld Test.
• Construction White Card.
• Trade Certificate – Australian Recognised (Boilermaker / Sheet Metal / Welder).
• Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
• TBOSIET / BOSIET with CA-EBS (issued within 48 months).
• Enter and Work in Confined Space (issued within 36 months).
• Work Safely at Heights (issued within 36 months).
• Gas Test Atmospheres (issued within 36 months).
• Australian Work Rights (Passport, Birth Cert or Visa).

Responsibilities

• Provide welding and related maintenance support during turnaround.
• Work 12-hour shifts on offshore platform.
• Participate in a 35–40 day duration maintenance program.
• Mobilise to Onslow, WA by 10/10/2026.
