Job summary

Workday APAC Tech Services in Sydney is seeking a Senior Integration Consultant to lead Workday Student deployments, drive integration architecture, and guide partner implementations end-to-end.

You will collaborate with customers, partners, project managers, and technical teams to design scalable integration solutions, explain complex concepts clearly, and ensure best practices across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with data migration, integration development, report building, or software development.
• 6+ years of experience with technical architecture and consulting, requirements gathering, leading complex solution design within the Student domain
• 6+ years of experience with leading integration workstream ownership
• Prior experience with higher education technology systems (SIS, LMS, admissions, student financial, financial aid, or identity management platforms)
• Experience across the complete software implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, integration design, development, testing, and move to production
• Strong background in technical architecture, with experience designing data flows, integration patterns, and security models across SaaS ecosystems and external services
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and partners and explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Previous consulting experience, either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company, is a plus
• Previous experience with Workday integration technologies such as EIB, orchestration, and Workday Studio is a plus
• An eagerness to work through challenges independently, staying agile and flexible as the environment changes
• A passion for learning and building skills in new technologies, including AI products, prompt engineering, and agent development

Responsibilities

• Lead integration architecture for Workday Student deployments and provide advisory support to implementation partners.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, project managers, functional consultants, technical teams, architects, and third-party vendors to define the integration strategy and scalable designs.
• Explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Help partners and customers understand integration requirements, weigh design options, and resolve technical challenges.
• Support integrations across key Workday Student areas: student records, admissions, student financials, identity management, LMS, reporting, and campus services
