The University of Canberra is seeking a Senior WIL Coordinator, Placements to lead and improve placement operations across Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health. You will work with diverse stakeholders, coach a placement team, and drive compliance and operational excellence in higher education.

Ideal candidates have demonstrated experience in health sector placements, staff supervision, and strong knowledge of placement systems (InPlace, ClinConnect, PlaceRight).

• Experience coordinating placements and work‑based learning in health sectors.
• Experience leading or supervising staff and managing operational workflows.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management practices.
• Experience with placement management systems (InPlace or equivalents).
• Analytical with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Plan, coordinate and continuously improve placement operations within designated disciplines.
• Provide expert advice on policies, procedures and compliance obligations.
• Supervise placement team to achieve service excellence and operational outcomes.
• Manage placement management systems and drive ongoing enhancements (InPlace, ClinConnect, PlaceRight).
• Monitor placement compliance and risk management requirements; implement process improvements.
• Support development and management of placement agreements and contracts.
• Oversee placement-related financial administration, including invoicing and reconciliation.
• Represent Careers UC on university, industry and government committees and working groups.
