Job summary

A W Edwards, a long-established builder in New South Wales, seeks an experienced WHS Manager to lead safety on a major Data Centre project in Sydney's West. The role reports to the Group Safety Manager and partners with a seasoned site team.

You will drive compliance, injury prevention and risk management while mentoring colleagues. The company offers a stable, secure environment with a strong pipeline of NSW projects and a path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years' experience as WHS leadership in construction.
• Experience on large-scale Data Centre, commercial, health or government projects in Australia.
• Cert IV or above in Safety.
• We are not looking for excessive hours; focus and productivity during standard office hours.
• Excellent face-to-face communication and dispute resolution skills.
• Strong client liaison and report writing abilities.
• Face-to-face meetings and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a WHS team on a Data Centre project in Sydney (West) and/or Lane Cove.
• Collaborate with Site Team and Group Safety Manager for mentoring and development.
• Support a long-term career path within NSW construction projects.
• Contribute to the company’s secure project pipeline and knowledge base.
