Job summary

WSP in Australia is seeking a Project Manager to drive delivery of national water programs. You will lead or support project management on water infrastructure, manage design delivery, and embed robust controls, reporting, and risk/fiscal practices across multiple sites.

Based in Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast, the role operates in a hybrid model with site visits as needed. You’ll collaborate with distributed teams and senior leaders to achieve project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience delivering D&C water infrastructure projects.
• Engineering consulting background with design management is desirable.
• Experience with contracts, change management and drafting variations.
• Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work across distributed teams and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead project management on water infrastructure projects nationally with support from SPMs and Team Managers.
• Manage the design delivery of medium–large projects and programs in line with delivery standards.
• Embed robust project controls, contract admin and cost planning.
• Track internal costs and deliver client reporting.
• Identify, manage and negotiate project changes with clients.
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System, audits and quality checks.
• Apply risk management frameworks across project processes.
• Champion a strong safety culture and safe delivery for all teams.
