Job summary

AECOM is expanding our Water Infrastructure team in New South Wales as part of the ANZ Water business. We deliver across water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial and civil projects to support sustainable outcomes for communities.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications & CPEng (or working towards/eligible).
• Demonstrated experience on water and/or wastewater projects including networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals, within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
• An interest in mentoring, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
• Passion for delivering high quality work & excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design on various water infrastructure projects including networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals.
• Involvement in coordinating, managing and completing projects from inception, including bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
• Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and local, regional, and global AECOM colleagues as part of multidisciplinary teams.
