Job summary

Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking an experienced Senior Treatment Operator to join our Water Services' Wastewater team. You will operate, maintain and monitor wastewater treatment plants, record readings, and perform process laboratory testing to ensure assets run within quality control points.

You will guide and assist other Treatment Plant Operators, with a Certificate III in Water & Wastewater Treatment Operations and experience in SCADA. A current Class C driver's licence is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Water & Wastewater Treatment Operations (Dual Ticket) or equivalent.
• Experience in wastewater treatment operations.
• Experience mentoring and supporting other team members.
• Advanced ability to operate plant process control systems, including SCADA.
• Current Class 'C' Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and monitor the treatment plants.
• Record readings accurately and report results.
• Perform process laboratory testing and determine corrective measures.
• Provide guidance and assistance to other Treatment Plant Operators.
