Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia is seeking an experienced Leading Hand or Storeperson to step up into a Leading Hand role. You will lead a high‑volume warehouse team, communicate objectives, and drive KPI achievement across inbound, outbound, picking/packing and inventory.

You will interact with customers, maintain stock integrity, follow DHL policies, and support training needs. A forklift licence is desirable; uniforms and safety boots are provided, with staff discounts and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven operational experience in a high‑volume 3PL warehouse.
• Forklift licence (High Reach/Counter Balance/Double Deep) is highly desirable.
• Proven customer-facing experience delivering superior service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and lead a team.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to ensure objectives are communicated and KPIs achieved daily.
• Ensure operational performance across inbound, outbound, picking/packing and inventory.
• Interact with customers and maintain good working relationships; respond to inquiries timely.
• Maintain stock integrity and adhere to DHL policies and procedures.
• Follow safe work practices and assist with identifying training needs.
