Job summary

Vipac Engineers & Scientists Ltd in Brisbane seeks a skilled Vibration Engineer to join our national engineering team. You will deliver consulting services in vibration, structural dynamics, and related design disciplines, while building strong client relationships.

Required are a Mechanical Engineering degree with at least 5 years of practical vibration experience, plus proficiency in MATLAB, PULSIM, and FEA tools.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering with postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in vibration analysis or structural dynamics.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with knowledge of design codes.
• Field experience in industrial/mining/oil & gas environments emphasizing safety.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities; capable of proposal development.
• Proficient in MATLAB, PULSIM and FEA packages; familiarity with measurement systems.
• Previous client-facing or project engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical consulting services in vibration and structural dynamics.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct on-site measurements, root cause analysis, and provide actionable solutions.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our consulting team, you will:

What You Bring

• Experience with technical proposal development.
• Proficiency in tools such as FEA packages, MATLAB, PULSIM, and similar software.
