Job summary

Vipac Engineers & Scientists Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a skilled Vibration Engineer to join our team. You will deliver consulting on vibration, structural dynamics, and related design challenges for a range of industries.

The ideal candidate has at least five years' experience, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency with MATLAB, FEA, and PULSIM. You will mentor junior engineers and travel for fieldwork as required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering with postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' practical experience in vibration analysis or structural dynamics.
• Experience in industrial/mining/oil & gas environments with safety focus.
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities; client-facing experience.
• Proficiency in FEA, MATLAB, and PULSIM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical consulting services in vibration and structural dynamics.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct on-site measurements, root cause analysis, and provide actionable engineering solutions.
• Perform stress analysis and contribute to design improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support internal capability growth.
• Travel for fieldwork as required.
