4 Paws Vet is a busy, well-established veterinary practice on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, proudly serving the Neutral Bay community for over 25 years. We’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team and grow with us.

With 3+ years of nursing experience, you’ll perform surgical and hospital nursing, in-house pathology, dental procedures, radiology and client consultations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ veterinary nursing experience.
• Positive, enthusiastic and a genuine team player.
• Calm and professional, even when things get busy.
• Confident in client communication and patient care.
• Passionate about excellent patient care and learning new skills.
• Keen to grow and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across surgical and hospital settings, including pre- and post-operative care.
• Perform in-house pathology, dental procedures and radiology.
• Build strong client relationships through nurse consultations, admissions and discharges, with occasional reception support.
• Support Head Nurse with day-to-day nursing team operations and hospital workflow.
• Mentor junior team members and workplace students.
• Confidently handle cats, aligned with Silver ISFM accreditation.
