Job summary

Saab Australia seeks a Senior Verification Engineer to lead verification activities for the Collins Class Submarine ISCMMS. You will drive the Test & Evaluation program, ensure requirements are verified and validated, and coordinate with Systems Engineering and Program Leadership to achieve customer acceptance.

You will own verification artefacts, manage schedules, and lead formal test events, while collaborating with stakeholders and customers to deliver compliant, traceable verification

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in software systems testing, verification, and validation.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing structured Verification & Validation programs.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering and requirements verification methodologies.
• Experience developing test procedures, verification plans, traceability matrices, and formal test reports.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work closely with customers to achieve program and acceptance objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of verification activities for complex software and platform automation systems.
• Develop and maintain Verification Strategies, Verification Plans, ATPs, Verification Reports, and VCRM.
• Own and manage the project's Requirements Verification Matrix, test evidence, and OQE.
• Develop detailed verification schedules and manage resources, equipment, and test environments.
• Lead formal test activities as Lead Tester or Test Director.
• Conduct risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution related to verification.
• Support engineering reviews and audits, including TRRs, FCAs, and PCAs.
• Assess and justify acceptance of requirements compliance or deviations.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to enable successful system acceptance.
