Job summary

Diageo Australia is seeking a Utilities Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of utilities across the Huntingwood site and support the Sydney HQ. You’ll own asset strategy, lead cross-functional collaboration and drive sustainability initiatives in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in utilities, hard services or industrial infra, beverage/FMCG preferred.
• Experience with refrigeration, boilers/steam, pressure equipment, compressed air, water, fire and HVAC systems.
• Contractor and supplier management oversight.
• Regulatory compliance, asset risk, inspections and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of trade waste systems, BOD management and environmental compliance.
• Strong analytical skills using utilities, cost and production data.
• Experience in 24/7 manufacturing environments preferred.
• SAP, Power BI, Excel and capital project delivery desirable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and emergency response skills.

Responsibilities

• Own safe, reliable operation of utilities across Huntingwood site and Sydney HQ scope.
• Lead long-term utilities/infrastructure strategy and capital investment prioritisation.
• Ensure regulatory, environmental and Diageo standards compliance, including hazardous areas and safety systems.
• Lead utilities performance monitoring, forecasting and continuous improvement.
• Deliver utilities capital projects from concept to handover on time and budget.
• Drive energy, water and sustainability programs aligned with decarbonisation goals.
• Provide technical leadership across contractors and suppliers with risk management oversight.
• Collaborate with Operations, Asset Care, Facilities and OT/Automation to resolve issues.
