Job summary

Georges River Council is seeking a Senior Urban Designer to lead design studies, master planning and public domain initiatives across the Georges River area. You will guide planning controls, manage consultants and engage with the community to deliver sustainable, liveable places.

The role is hybrid with permanent, full-time hours and a generous benefits package, including 12% superannuation and a 9-day fortnight where feasible.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering place-based, community-focused objectives through master plans and urban design strategies.
• Understanding of urban design and public domain planning for growing urban communities.
• Strong project management: timeframes, priorities, budgets.
• Excellent liaison with stakeholders and cross-disciplinary teams.
