Georges River Council is seeking a Senior Urban Designer to lead strategic urban design and master planning across the Georges River area. You will guide place-based design solutions for town centres, open spaces and neighbourhoods, while collaborating with stakeholders to influence planning decisions.

You will manage projects, coordinates consultants, and contribute to planning controls within a collaborative team focused on sustainable, liveable outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in town planning, architecture, urban design, landscape architecture or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience delivering place-based, community-focused objectives through master plans and public domain guidelines.
• Strong understanding of urban design principles and long-term planning for growing communities.
• Proven ability to manage projects, timelines, budgets and workloads within prescribed budgets.
• Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams and forming partnerships internally and externally.
• Excellent communication, liaison, negotiation and consultation skills across stakeholders.
