Liberty in Asia Pacific is seeking a Senior Underwriter to contribute to growth and profitability in our NSW Casualty book. You will work independently on complex risks with accountability for your results, combining hands-on underwriting with broker management and strategic marketing.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in General (non-Life) insurance.
• Technical underwriting skills and knowledge.
• Strong relationships with brokers and proven influence.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to market Liberty products and deliver training.
• Review, rate and underwrite target new and renewal business with quality and pricing guidelines.
• Execute selling and negotiation strategies to ensure profitability and portfolio growth.
• Provide high-quality service to brokers/clients and differentiate Liberty from competitors.
• Collaborate with other underwriters to leverage cross-selling opportunities and deliver full service.
