Job summary
Techtonic Mining Solutions is seeking an Underground Mining Engineer or Senior Mining Engineer to join our team on FIFO from Perth. You will support clients onsite and remotely, develop mine plans, and drive productivity improvements in underground operations.
The role requires a mining engineering degree, 3+ years underground experience, proficiency with Deswik CAD, UDGB and IS, and licenses including a manual driver's license. First Class Mine Manager’s ticket is preferred.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years underground mining experience.
- Proficient in drill and blast design/optimisation.
- Proficient in daily/weekly/monthly mine planning.
- Current manual driver's licence.
- First Class Mine Manager’s ticket (preferred but not essential).
- Full Australian working rights (please do not apply without this).
Responsibilities
- Supporting our clients onsite & remotely to provide operations support & improvements.
- Developing/reviewing daily, weekly & monthly mine plans using Deswik & Microsoft Excel
- Identifying/implementing productivity & business improvement initiatives to our clients
- Providing technical support to mine operations teams & inspections of underground workings
- Generating/reviewing production & compliance reports over daily/weekly/monthly horizons
