Job summary

NW People is seeking a Senior UI Designer on a 12-month contract (with extensions) to support a major digital transformation for government services. Hybrid work is offered with onsite presence for the first 6 weeks; candidates must be able to travel as needed.

You will lead UI design across web and apps, apply accessible design principles, create complex data visualisations, rapidly prototype, govern a UI component library, and collaborate with UX, product, engineering and stakeholders to

Qualifications

2+ years in a senior UI design role.
Strong accessible/inclusive design and UX best practice.
Experience with data visualisation and map/graph visuals.
Ability to prototype rapidly and turn designs into interactive code.
Experience establishing and governing a UI component library or design system.
Skilled in workshops, user research and usability testing.
