Job summary

Transgrid is seeking a Senior Project Developer to provide technical leadership on bids and opportunities across its portfolio in NSW and ACT. You will lead scoping, option feasibility studies and design coordination with internal and external stakeholders to prepare complete, optimised proposals.

You will chair delivery presentations, drive pricing strategies, lead risk assessment workshops and manage multiple projects through the development lifecycle with rigorous cost control.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering discipline.
• Substantial experience managing project activities for transmission line and substation projects.
• Experience with design coordination, environmental/regulatory approvals, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience developing project programs and accurate cost estimates.
• Familiarity with Australian standards and government guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping and option feasibility studies during bids.
• Develop presentations for delivery, pricing strategy and project kick-off meetings.
• Lead risk assessment workshops with mitigation strategies.
• Benchmark costs and identify cost-optimisation opportunities with stakeholders.
• Coordinate detailed design inputs and reviews of external designs.
• Initiate RFQ processes with procurement for external design work.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects through lifecycle and budgets.
• Document and mitigate project risks with stakeholders.
• Provide timely reporting to management during development.
