Job summary

AdvanCell Pty Ltd. is seeking a Senior Translational Scientist to manage and conduct advanced preclinical studies across in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo platforms.

You will drive project decisions, mentor scientists and coordinate cross-functional programs in a fast-paced radiopharmaceutical environment. The role requires expertise in target expression analysis, biodistribution, toxicity and efficacy studies, plus experience with preclinical imaging and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology or related life sciences with strong preclinical focus.
• Experience leading preclinical oncology or related programs in biotech/pharma.
• Hands-on in vitro and in vivo studies including murine models.
• Knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques (flow cytometry, qPCR, WB, IHC).
• Experience analyzing complex data and communicating findings in reports.
• Experience managing multiple projects and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute high-quality in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo preclinical studies.
• Lead design and execution of preclinical assays (validation, biodistribution, pharmacology, toxicity).
• Analyze and present data; prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Contribute to regulatory documentation and publications.
• Lead and coordinate preclinical projects, delivering on time and budget.
• Mentor researchers and students; foster collaboration and high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Ensure GLP, SOPs and ethics compliance in all activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in study design and data quality.
• Maintain lab records and support equipment and facilities.
