Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking a Senior Transformation Programme Manager in Australia to own and drive the end-to-end transformation lifecycle. You will work with Product, Technology and Data teams to diagnose issues, design future-state journeys and oversee pilots, with emphasis on governance and risk management in a regulated financial services setting.

As our Senior Transformation Programme Manager, you'll take real ownership of how CMC Markets improves the way it serves clients across ANZ, from the first diagnosis of a broken process through to a fully adopted, working solution.

One month you might be redesigning a client onboarding journey with Product and Technology. The next, you could be leading a vendor transition or presenting a business case to senior leaders. Few roles offer this breadth of experience in process design and stakeholder leadership, all inside a regulated financial services environment.

What you'll be working on

You'll lead the full transformation lifecycle across four connected areas:

• Strategy and mobilisation : Setting the scope, governance and integrated delivery plan for each initiative, and building the business case that justifies it.
• Process improvement and design : Diagnosing root causes through data and frontline workshops, then designing practical future-state journeys with Product, Technology and Data teams.
• Vendor management : Leading vendor onboarding and transition and protecting service continuity once live.
• Governance and stakeholder leadership : Running pilots through to scaled rollout, tracking benefits, and influencing senior stakeholders to secure timely decisions, all while keeping risk, compliance and audit-readiness front of mind.

What will help you be successful?

You'll thrive here if you've led complex transformation or change programmes in a regulated financial services environment or another complex, client-facing business. You're comfortable juggling operational, technology, data and vendor dependencies against tight timelines, and you know how to turn a business case and a risk register into real delivery. You read data well, you use it to find root causes, and you can influence senior stakeholders even without direct authority over them.

Experience in trading, banking, wealth management or another client-service-intensive financial business is a bonus, as is exposure to client onboarding, workflow automation or case management improvements. A relevant degree or recognised programme, change, Lean or Six Sigma qualification will also stand you in good stead.
