Job summary

Device Technologies seeks an experienced, customer-focused Senior Training Adviser to coordinate and support high-quality training programs for clients, trainers, and internal stakeholders during a 12‑month maternity leave cover.

In this role you will manage training bookings, schedules, and communications; contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement, ensuring strong outcomes and seamless execution in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in training coordination, training adviser, learning and development, or customer service
• Experience managing training bookings, schedules, and stakeholder communications in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trainers and internal stakeholders
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, training programs, or operational activities simultaneously
• Strong administrative experience with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience preparing quotes, reports, training documentation, and customer correspondence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools
• Experience using CRM, training management, student management, or LMS systems
• Knowledge of the VET sector and RTO operations is desirable
• Experience supporting compliance, quality assurance, or continuous improvement activities
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Senior Training Adviser on a 12-month maternity leave contract. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with clients, trainers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate and support the delivery of high-quality training programs, while contributing to operational excellence, strong customer outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Experience required:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a training coordination, training adviser, learning and development, or customer service role.
• Demonstrated experience managing training bookings, schedules, and stakeholder communications in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trainers, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, training programs, or operational activities simultaneously.
• Strong administrative experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience preparing quotes, reports, training documentation, and customer correspondence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience using CRM, training management, student management, or learning management systems (LMS).
• Knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and RTO operations is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting compliance, quality assurance, or continuous improvement activities is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer and operational outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
