Job summary

Taylors Development Strategists in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Town Planner to provide high-quality statutory and strategic planning advice across residential, commercial, government, industrial and mixed-use projects throughout Melbourne and Victoria.

You will own your project portfolio, lead complex Planning Permit Applications, engage with clients and councils, mentor junior staff and contribute to business development in a truly flexible workplace.

Qualifications

• Significant Victorian planning experience.
• Ability to independently manage complex planning projects.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of complex statutory and strategic planning projects across Melbourne and Victoria.
• Provide high-quality, commercially focused planning advice and interpretation of Victorian planning schemes.
• Prepare, lodge and manage Planning Permit Applications and Planning Scheme Amendments.
• Mentor and support junior planners and contribute to team development.
• Contribute to business development, client relationship management and proposals.
