Job summary

Planned Resources in Ballarat is seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to lead projects from start to finish, taking ownership of diverse planning files, managing client relationships and delivering practical, commercially focused advice.

You’ll work three days onsite per week with a collaborative team, preparing planning reports and supporting documentation, liaising with Councils and stakeholders, and guiding applications through approval while developing your career in a growing

Qualifications

• Significant experience working within the Victorian planning system.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to assess and manage planning matters.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to liaise with clients, Councils and external stakeholders.
• Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Genuine interest in building and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse range of planning applications and projects.
• Provide high-quality technical planning advice.
• Prepare and review planning reports, applications and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with Councils, clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Manage projects through the planning and approval process.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Identify planning opportunities and provide practical solutions to complex matters.
• Support and contribute to the wider team and business as required.
