Senior Town Planner
Location: Gold Coast | Full-Time

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Town Planner to join their thriving Gold Coast studio. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a people-focused planning and design consultancy delivering meaningful outcomes across local and regional projects throughout South East Queensland.

In this role, you will manage a diverse range of projects, develop strong client relationships, and deliver high-quality planning outcomes on time and within budget. Your responsibilities include preparing and lodging development applications, analyzing and interpreting planning legislation (including the Planning Act 2016), and contributing to tenders, submissions, and strategic proposals.

They are looking for someone confident, self-motivated, and a strong communicator with a passion for great planning outcomes. You’ll work alongside a supportive team in a collaborative environment that values both autonomy and teamwork.

What You’ll Bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning
• Minimum 6 years’ industry experience
• Strong knowledge of SEQ and Gold Coast planning frameworks
• Familiarity with development assessment processes under the Planning Act 2016
• Proven project management and client liaison experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Australian residency required
