Job summary

Moliago, a Brisbane-based planning consultancy, seeks a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to contribute to statutory and strategic planning across residential, mixed-use, tourism, renewable energy, industrial, commercial and government projects. The role offers hybrid working and part-time options, with professional learning, mentoring and defined career development.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary town planning qualification and two to five years of postgraduate experience within Queensland’s planning system.
• Sound knowledge of Planning Act, Planning Regulations and Economic Development Act.
• Involvement in statutory and/or strategic planning across varied projects.
• Strong communication abilities with clients and stakeholders.
• Enthusiasm for planning and understanding of contemporary planning matters.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to statutory and strategic planning across residential, mixed-use, tourism, renewable energy, industrial, commercial and government projects.
• Collaborate across sectors and with diverse stakeholders on planning projects of varying complexity.
• Engage with client and stakeholder relationships and support career development within a design-led practice.
• Support hybrid and flexible work arrangements and professional learning opportunities.
