ASIC's Cyber Security team is seeking a Senior Engineer in Threat Operations to lead incident response, threat detection and threat hunting. You will work with colleagues across technical and non-technical backgrounds to investigate complex threats and operationalise threat intelligence.

This 24-month fixed term role offers a salary from $154,355 to $170,686 plus 15.4% super, and benefits such as hybrid work options and professional development.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in cyber security or related discipline.
• Senior experience in Threat Operations, incident response, threat detection or threat hunting.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft security technologies and security telemetry.
• Ability to lead investigations and work with diverse teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, optimize and maintain threat detections and response playbooks.
• Manage incident response during cyber events and guide containment.
• Operationalize cyber threat intelligence to improve detection and hunting.
• Lead complex investigations and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Advocate for defensive AI adoption and security automation.
