Job summary

The Lottery Corporation in Australia seeks a results-driven QA engineer to strengthen testing across platforms for lottery games, draw processing and prize administration. You will build automated tests in C# with MSTest, validate data with SQL Server and work closely with developers, BAs and product teams to improve software quality.

Qualifications

• Experience testing enterprise applications or complex systems.
• Strong SQL Server and data validation skills.
• Experience developing automated tests using C# and MSTest.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab, TeamCity or Octopus Deploy.
• Understanding of Agile delivery practices and software testing methodologies.

• Contribute to testing activities across projects, enhancements and releases.
• Assist with creating test approaches, test plans and automation solutions.
• Execute functional, integration and end-to-end testing across multiple applications.
• Identify, investigate and track defects through to resolution.

• Support release validation, deployment verification and production readiness.

You'll work on the platforms that support lottery games, draw processing, retail transactions and prize administration across Australia. These systems sit at the heart of our business, making quality, reliability and performance critical to our success.

What you'll do

• Contribute to testing activities across projects, enhancements and production releases
• Assist with creating test approaches, test plans and automation solutions
• Execute functional, integration and end-to-end testing across multiple applications

What you'll bring

• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab, TeamCity or Octopus Deploy
• Understanding of Agile delivery practices and software testing methodologies
• Ability to analyse issues, troubleshoot defects and work collaboratively to resolve problems
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, improve and take ownership of testing outcomes
