Defence Health is a not-for-profit fund dedicated to defending the health of those who protect our country. The Senior Test Analyst role in Victoria involves hands-on testing across manual and automated domains, collaborating with stakeholders to embed quality throughout delivery.

You will design test plans, execute tests, and develop automated scripts with Selenium and C#, while validating APIs and databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in software testing across manual, automation, API, integration and regression testing.
• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline (desired).
• Experience across Agile, iterative and/or waterfall delivery environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements, functional specifications and user stories into test cases, scenarios and coverage.
• Experience with test management and defect tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail.
• Automation experience using Selenium with C# or equivalent.
• API testing and database validation using Postman and SQL.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into delivery and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute and maintain manual and automated test cases based on business requirements, technical specifications and user stories.
• Perform functional, integration, system, API, database and regression testing to validate solution quality and business readiness.
• Develop, maintain and improve automated test scripts, including support for automation frameworks and CI/CD testing practices.
• Create and manage test data to ensure suitable coverage across testing activities.
• Identify, document, track and retest defects, working closely with development teams to support timely resolution.
• Contribute to test planning, estimation, risk assessment, quality reporting and release readiness activities.
