Job summary

Ambition in Sydney is seeking two Test Analyst professionals to drive critical UAT across Securities Services and Custody. You will partner directly with operational desks, project teams, and institutional clients to deliver robust UAT outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in financial services testing, strong SQL for data validation, and hands-on familiarity with Jira, TFS, Confluence, Octane, or UFT/QTP. Automation skills are a plus with strong client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software/system testing experience within financial services.
• Strong manual UAT execution with SQL troubleshooting.
• Experience with custody, securities services, superannuation or funds administration is preferred.
• Automation testing experience is desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client-facing communication skills.

2x Test Analyst roles, driving critical business acceptance testing across high-profile programs in Securities Services and Custody. You will partner directly with operational desks, project teams, and institutional clients to deliver robust UAT outcomes.

About You

• 5+ years of software/system testing experience within financial services.
• Working knowledge of Custody, Securities Services, Superannuation, or Funds Administration.
• Strong manual UAT execution skills with the ability to write SQL queries for troubleshooting.
• Automation testing skills highly desirable.
• Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Jira, TFS, Confluence, Micro Focus Octane, or UFT/QTP.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and client-facing communication skills.
