Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Telecommunications Engineer to join our growing team in Brisbane.

Skills & Duties

• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with project and technical standards.
• Lead and deliver high‑quality telecommunication design projects across Qld and interstate.
• Act as a technical and delivery lead on telecommunication projects for Qld utilities.
• Proactively engage with existing and potential clients to identify and develop new business opportunities in the region and strengthen Egis market presence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualification(s) in Telecommunications Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience working in a similar position with relevant experience in design and management.
• Highly developed organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Client management skills, and the ability to work with clients to understand their needs, define project scope, and develop project plans and proposals.
• Ability to influence others to achieve outcomes.
• Understanding of major technical areas across rail telecommunication and transport industries to act as Telecommunications SME to deliver desired outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong research and analytic skills.
• Sound negotiation skills.
• Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with professional services business environments preferred.
