AI Talent in Sydney is seeking a Telecommunications Network Planner to lead the planning, design, and development of customer access telecoms networks. You will work with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant network solutions.

The role requires a degree in a related field and hands-on experience with fibre, copper, HFC, and wireless access networks, with a focus on capacity planning and performance optimisation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in telecommunications network planning, design, or a closely related technical role.
• Strong working knowledge of customer access network technologies, including fibre, copper, HFC, and wireless infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop, and maintain customer access telecommunications network infrastructure to support growth and service delivery objectives.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to manage contractual obligations and service levels.
• Design and optimise networks to be cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with requirements.
• Provide ongoing operational support by troubleshooting network performance issues.
• Conduct detailed network capacity planning and demand forecasting.
• Analyse network data to identify improvements and apply optimisation strategies.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including network plans and design specs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project management to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Assess new technologies and methodologies to support continuous improvement.
