Job summary
Worley is seeking a Principal Telecommunications Engineer to lead digital infrastructure across enterprise and industrial environments for mining, energy and utilities projects. You will shape architecture, standards and delivery strategies for LAN/WAN and site technology systems.
You will mentor engineers, govern design quality, and drive secure, resilient networks from concept through commissioning. Hybrid work options are available.
Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and industrial digital infra.
- Expertise in LAN, WAN, and wireless networking, including routing, switching and security.
- Knowledge of data centres, servers, storage, virtualization and resilience.
- Experience delivering site technology solutions such as CCTV and access control.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across digital infrastructure and OT environments.
- Develop architecture, standards and strategies for LAN/WAN/Wireless networks.
- Deliver infrastructure across the project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
- Design data centres, servers, virtualization, storage and DR solutions.
- Lead integration of site technology systems (CCTV, access control, fire detection, PA).
- Ensure secure, resilient network infrastructure and governance.
- Mentor engineers and support business development for Worley's capabilities.
- Advise clients on infrastructure modernisation and reliability initiatives.
