Job description

The role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • New PC Deployment including software and printer installation
  • Replacement of aged PC's
  • Retrieval and decommission of IT Hardware
  • Technical escalation for junior staff
  • Other logistical duties including a requirement for a current Australian driver's license

The DTSG Hardware Deployment Team:

As an ICT Deployment Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and deployment of ICT hardware and software across healthcare facilities. Your work ensures that systems are correctly set up, secure, and ready for use by clinical and administrative staff.

You will need:

  • Ability to deliver technology-based solutions, excellent customer service and accurate technical support within a high paced and complex work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and to foster understanding and learning.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to provide clear advice and technical instructions to a broad range of stakeholders and customers.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

  • Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:

$98,255 to $103,069 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
