Job summary

RAC Auto Services in Canning Vale is seeking a Senior Auto Technician to service and repair light vehicles, perform diagnostics, and mentor apprentices in a busy, supportive centre.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician with post-apprenticeship/trade certificate.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and repair expertise.
• Valid C Class Manual Driver's Licence; Motor Vehicle Repair Licence desirable.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair a variety of light vehicles in your own dedicated workspace.
• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics, documenting progress and outcomes.
• Mentor apprentices and fellow technicians, contributing to a skilled and collaborative team.
• Step up as a Second-in-Charge (2IC) to support your Team Leader when needed.
• Handle breakdowns on vehicles brought into the centre, sharpening problem-solving skills.
