Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant to lead design, publication and implementation of complex IM/ICT solutions in a health context. You will ensure alignment with enterprise frameworks and standards, and provide expert advice across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes strategic impact and ongoing delivery excellence. You will mentor teams, drive changes across large programs, and work with cloud technologies such as Azure/AWS, DevOps practices, and identity

Qualifications

Experience in design, publication, implementation and delivery of IM/ICT programs for large scale projects.
Ability to design systems and apply design standards for complex organisations.
Proven capability to assess and plan changes for large IM/ICT programs.

Responsibilities

Manage the design, planning and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with IM/ICT frameworks.
Specify and design complex systems and recommend design standards and tools.
Maintain deep knowledge of technical specialisms and provide expert advice.
Manage development, publication, implementation and compliance of all project deliverables at enterprise level.
Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary project team.
