Job description

This Canberra based Government Agency supports innovation, science and commercialisation; growing business investment and improving business capability; streamlining regulations; and building a high-performance organisation.

About the role

The role is critical for bridging the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users by producing high-quality documentation and supporting the development of our digital services built on .NET, Power Apps, and Dynamics 365. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical acumen, and exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation and actionable insights.

The role requires someone who has worked on Dynamics 365 and Power Apps projects.

Duties

1. Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 and Power Apps solutions including workflows and business rules.
2. Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to understand system functionalities, integrations, and enhancements.
3. Analyse business requirements to document functional and technical specifications.
4. Participate in solution design discussions and provide insights into documentation needs.
5. Investigate, document, and track defects to resolution, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Requirements

1. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and enterprise applications built on the platform.
2. Experience in using modelling and visual design languages such as BPMN, UML, SysML, SDL, flow charts, etc.
3. Experience in agile software delivery, including the production of agile artefacts, user stories, and participation in ceremonies.
4. Experience in producing system, security, and business documentation.
5. Experience with agile project and team management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, etc.
6. Flexible working arrangements.
7. Remote work arrangement may be considered.

Due to the nature of the role, the applicant should be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain AGSVA Security clearance. Baseline or NV1 cleared candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
