Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director to oversee technology, cyber and information security risk across the enterprise. You will identify risk exposures, challenge management practices and engage senior stakeholders to shape risk reporting and governance.

You will help develop and improve risk frameworks, policies and standards, guiding risk appetite and control implementation across multiple business areas in a complex financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technology, cyber and information security risk or operational risk management, including experience working in or with second line risk teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn risk information, incidents and trends into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
• Experience developing and applying enterprise-wide risk frameworks, metrics and reporting approaches across multiple business areas.
• Strong understanding of operational risk management principles and the ability to apply them in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders while supporting alignment with risk appetite, policies and control standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI and agentic AI, with the ability to assess how their adoption changes or amplifies technology, cyber and information security risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide oversight of technology, cyber and information security risk across the Group.
• Review and challenge risk management practices and influence outcomes through engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Support risk reporting to senior management and governance forums.
• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of enterprise risk frameworks, policies and standards.
