Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Tax Technology to lead complex indirect tax technology implementations, focusing on ERP integration, tax engine deployment, and business process transformation.

You will manage multiple engagements ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with Ryan’s standards. The role requires deep SAP ECC/S/4HANA experience with Vertex O Series or OneSource Determination, plus leadership, client advisory, and business development contributions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 7–10 years of indirect tax automation/implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple full-cycle enterprise software implementations.
• CPA/PMP designation is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of indirect tax software, specifically Vertex O Series or OneSource.
• ERP knowledge focused on SAP SD/MM/FI in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex indirect tax technology implementations from initiation to deployment.
• Serve as trusted advisor to client tax, finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders.
• Oversee requirements, design, configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and risks across engagements.
• Review specifications and client deliverables to ensure quality and readiness.
