Job summary

Qualifications

• Current TPB registration as a Tax Agent.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, planning and advisory services.
• Ability to manage client relationships and provide practical advice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Provide tax planning, advisory and business structuring advice.
• Manage ATO correspondence, compliance requirements and lodgement deadlines.
• Oversee tax workflows, quality control and day-to-day delivery.
• Build client relationships and attend client meetings.
• Identify opportunities to expand advisory services and develop new business.
• Improve processes, systems and the profitability of the tax division.
• Develop tax team members as the division grows.
• Review the work of other tax team members as required.
• Coordinate company formations and ASIC services where appropriate.
