Job summary

Prudent Partners, a well‑established public accounting practice in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Business Services & Tax team. This is an in‑office role with optional work-from-home arrangements.

The role offers flexible FT or PT options, approximately 5 hours per day possible for the right person. You will manage client portfolios, prepare financial statements and tax returns, and advise on Division 7A, CGT and FBT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years' current experience in Taxation & Business Services within a Public Practice environment.
• Strong experience managing client work end-to-end.
• Solid technical knowledge across business services and taxation.
• CA/CPA/IPA qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns.
• Advise on Division 7A, CGT and FBT.
• Handle client queries directly and confidently.
• Review and finalise work with the Partner.
• Maintain a client-first, practical and commercial approach.
