Job summary

Recruit Shop Pty Ltd in Perth, WA, is seeking an experienced tax and accounting professional to join our well-established firm. You will deliver high-quality taxation and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of small to medium businesses and high-net-worth clients, working closely with Partners and Managers.

The role offers 5 weeks annual leave, training and study support, and mentoring. You’ll handle tax returns, financial statements, tax planning, BAS and FBT, and maintain excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or relevant tertiary qualification.
• CA or CPA qualification, or currently working towards completion.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Australian public practice accounting.
• Strong experience across individuals, trusts, companies, partnerships, and SMSFs.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence liaising with clients.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Xero, MYOB.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs
• Providing tax planning and consulting advice across income tax, FBT, CGT, and GST matters
• Preparing Business Activity Statements and Fringe Benefits Tax returns
• Ensuring accurate and timely taxation compliance and financial reporting
• Liaising professionally with clients and relevant external parties
• Maintaining strong client relationships while delivering a high standard of service
• Staying current with taxation, accounting, and broader industry developments
