You will prepare financial statements and tax returns, tackle complex areas like Division 7A and CGT, and serve as the primary client contact while reviewing junior staff work. Autonomy and direct Partner access are hallmarks of the role.

Qualifications

• At least five years of Australian tax and accounting experience.
• Clear written communication. Client contact skills are a plus.
• You care about getting it right.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise financial statements and tax returns for groups, companies, trusts and individuals.
• Handle complex items: Division 7A, trust distributions, CGT, restructures, group tax planning.
• Be the client contact and review work from junior staff when needed.
• Collaborate with the Partner on advisory projects; operate with minimal supervision.
