Job summary

MW Recruitment is seeking a Senior Accountant – Client Manager in Brisbane Northside. This role offers a relaxed culture, modern offices, onsite parking, and the chance to finish work by 4:00pm daily.

You will manage a client portfolio, supervise accounting tasks, and provide strategic financial planning for SMEs and high net worth clients. Ideal candidates have 4-6+ years in Australian public practice, CA/CPA qualifications, and a passion for building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Management accounting experience including budgeting and forecasting
• Ability to provide tax planning and business/strategic planning
• Experience in handling client portfolios and relationships
• CA/CPA qualified required

This leading public practice accounting firm is one of the largest on the Northside ( 50 + staff) and offers a wide range of services to a number of SME businesses and high net wealth individuals.

As a Senior Accountant / Client Manager, your duties will include:

• Management accounting, including budgeting & forecasting and Tax Planning
• Preparation of year end accounts
• Business planning, restructuring and strategic planning ( assistance available if still learning this )
• Succession planning
• IAS’s, BAS’s, Tax Returns & Financial Statements for all entity types

Ideally you'll have...

• 4 - 6 + years business servIces and tax experience in an Australian Accounting Firm
• CA/CPA Qualifications
• The ability to manage own portfolio
• A passion for helping Australian Businesses and forging meaningful client relationships.
