Job summary

Advanced Search Group seeks a Senior Tax and Business Services Accountant to join their boutique firm in Perth on a part-time basis, with flexibility for full-time as needed.

The role covers advisory and compliance work for family businesses, including financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, and tax advisory (CGT/Div 7A). Mentoring junior staff and client liaison are key components.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years' experience in tax and business services.
• Be working towards or completed your CA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Good personality and ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

The two Partners have worked closely together for more than 15 years and have branched out to set up their own practice. THE OPPORTUNITY

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tax and Business Services Accountant to join the firm on a full-time or part-time basis. Working closely with their management team,you will be dealing with a mix of advisory and compliance work.

Duties include:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for family businesses.
• Preparing business activity statements
• Tax advisory including CGT and Div 7A
• Liaising with ATO and external agencies
• Liaising with clients
• Mentoring junior staff members
