Job summary

HUB24 is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to design, implement and coordinate security initiatives across its technology landscape. You’ll work with architecture, engineering and operations to embed secure engineering practices and improve cyber resilience in a regulated environment.

You’ll balance technical depth with stakeholder engagement, delivering practical security outcomes and mentoring teams across HUB24.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, cyber security or related field.
Experience with ISO 27001, NIST and ACSC Essential Eight.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience designing and implementing security solutions (EDR, PAM, IAM, SIEM).

Responsibilities

Analyse HUB24’s security posture and identify opportunities to improve controls.
Design and coordinate security solutions across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
Lead security initiatives aligned to cyber security roadmap.
Partner with architecture, engineering and development teams to embed security requirements.
Conduct security reviews and provide guidance to ensure secure-by-design solutions.
Support Security Operations through technical escalation and expertise.
Contribute to information security policies, standards and frameworks.
