Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an experienced System Modeller to drive modelling and simulation capability across the enterprise in Australia. You will become a Subject Matter Expert, develop architectural frameworks, guides and training materials, and lead delivery to uplift enterprise maturity.

The role requires proficiency with SysML, Cameo, and related tools, plus strong communication and stakeholder engagement. A security clearance (NV1 or higher) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification per Washington Accord.
• 5+ years in systems engineering across the life cycle.
• Proficiency with SysML and modelling tools (Cameo preferred).
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks (UAF/NAF/DODAF).
• Experience creating and refining digital models and simulations.
• Config/Change management in system modelling.
• Excellent communication for non-technical stakeholders.
• Programming/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript) to support automation.
• Australian Government NV1 security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on system modelling including frameworks, languages, methods, and tools.
• Develop artefacts to improve maturity of system modelling (guides, instructions, training materials).
• Deliver demonstrations and training on system modelling.
• Stay updated on new technologies and methods in system modelling.
• Support integration of system modelling within the system engineering life cycle.
• Integrate system modelling tools with other engineering tools and automate where possible.
• Engage stakeholders and formulate enterprise plans and capability roadmaps.
• Support bids with system modelling and digital engineering capabilities.
