Job summary

Enovis Brisbane is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join the Enabling Technologies team. You will design, integrate, and optimize advanced surgical navigation and visualization systems for orthopedic procedures, coordinating with software, hardware, clinical research, and product management to ensure reliable system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years in systems/software engineering for complex products.
• Experience with C# and Unity is preferred.
• Experience integrating software with hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and support system-level architecture for surgical navigation and visualization platforms.
• Translate clinical and product requirements into detailed specs.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and clinical teams for integration.
• Support real-time visualization and AR capabilities development.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and safety across components.
• Participate in V&V activities to meet medical device standards.
• Identify and resolve system-level issues across integrated environments.
• Document architecture, interfaces, and verification plans.
• Contribute to risk management and design control processes.
• Support lifecycle management and continuous platform improvement.
