Job summary

Peoplebank is partnering with a leading Australian telecommunications provider to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure platforms and applications. You will work with stakeholders, Regulatory Programs and cross-functional teams to advance strategic regulatory initiatives.

The role emphasizes on-premises infrastructure, virtualization and platform engineering, with exposure to Elastic, OpenSearch and Kafka for data management and analytics. NV1/NV2 or PV clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong on-premises infrastructure and virtualization experience.
• Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform with automation knowledge.
• Programming in Go, Rust or Python for platform apps.
• Experience with data platforms like Elastic, OpenSearch and Kafka.
• Experience supporting enterprise networking and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support virtualised infrastructure platforms using Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain applications using Go, Rust and Python.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation, system integration and platform engineering initiatives.
• Support data management and analytics platforms such as Elastic, OpenSearch and Kafka.
• Manage and maintain networking infrastructure including Cisco and firewall technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to design and implement solutions.
• Provide operational support across infrastructure, networking and applications.
• Assist with system upgrades, performance optimisation and continuous improvement.

• Experience supporting enterprise networking and firewall technologies.
• Australian Citizen with NV1, NV2 OR PV clearance
